In addition to the hall hire fee, clients are required to pay: • $500 booking deposit (to secure the date) (deducted from the hall hire fee) • $350 cleaning fee (paid 4 weeks prior) • $1,500 refundable security bond (paid 4 weeks prior)

Yes, BYO alcohol is permitted at BYRA. All alcohol must be served in accordance with RSA regulations and managed by appropriately qualified bar staff. If you are engaging Boardwalk Catering, we can coordinate staffing, glassware, ice, bar setup and full service to ensure responsible service and a seamless guest experience.

All music must cease by 10:00pm sharp. The hall hire concludes at 11:00pm, and all guests must vacate the premises by this time. The venue is located in a quiet residential area, so these times are strictly enforced in line with council regulations. Our team can assist with your run sheet to ensure there is still plenty of time between dinner, speeches and dancing to ensure you can maximise your event.

BYRA hall hire applies to the Event Date only (access the day prior is also available, subject to availability) with: • Music required to cease by 10:00pm sharp • All guests to vacate by 11:00pm • Hall hire terminating at 11:00pm Pack-down and rubbish removal must also be completed by 11:00pm. Access for collection of personal items, hire equipment or vendor bump-out must be completed by 9:00am the following morning, including returning the key to the lockbox.
